P5 Handball Tournament

On Monday 2nd October, P5A and P5B took part in the Handball Tournament at West Calder High School. We formed 3 teams and took turns to play short matches against other schools. Celebrating Success in P7

Here is one of our P7 pupils who took part at The Livingston Athletics club championships. She placed first in long jump and in her 80m sprint. She loved the supportive environment and standing on the podium for the medal ceremony, a massive well done!

P 3 Learning Times Tables

We have been using arrays to help us learn our times table. As a class we worked on our 2 x table, making arrays with counters, drawing them on our desks and then writing the calculation. Tennis Lessons

Classes across the school have enjoyed learning about net games and tennis this week. We have been practising skills such as control and balance to develop our understanding of the sport.

Primary 4A- Class Pet

Team 3 worked together to clean out our class pet yesterday. They made sure to give her cage a really good clean before setting it back up for her. The children hid some treats and chews around her cage to keep her busy. She enjoys having a play in her ball.
